MAE was created from a simple idea: to make gifting feel more thoughtful, beautiful, and easy. 

As busy moms ourselves, we know how special it is to find the perfect little something - whether it's a gift for a teacher, a stocking stuffer for your child, a treat for a friend, or something beautiful to bring in to your own home. We want to create a place filled with things that feel unique, joyful, and worth giving. 

Our Holiday Market is the beginning of that vision. It is a chance to bring together thoughtfully chosen products, talented makers and small businesses, and the community we love right here in Durham. 

More than anything, we hope MAE makes this Holiday season feel a little more magical - and a lot easier!

We’re Olivia and Morgan, two moms who found our way to Durham after spending years in Salt Lake City, Utah!

Olivia grew up in the little coastal community of Lunada Bay, California, and now lives in Durham with her husband, JJ, and their three sweet girls—Millie, Alice, and Emmy (the inspiration behind MAE!). Morgan and her husband moved to Durham a few years ago and are raising their four sweet boys here.

We’ve both fallen in love with the South and the wonderful community we get to call home. We share a love for gathering with friends, celebrating the seasons, discovering charming little shops, and making everyday moments feel special.
